Home / How To Join / Uniforms How To JoinUniformsUniform A uniform is needed and can be purchased from Snowgum Stores or Scout Outdoor Centres/Scout Shops. By buying the uniform through these stores you are helping Scouting across Australia. Click here for a PDF file of the Uniform Price List Order Form. Uniforms may also be able to be bought through second hand clothing stores or from other Scouts (just ask the Leaders). Note: When buying a uniform, you do not need to purchase any badges, as these are provided free of charge at the appropriate time by your Scout Group (covered by your subscriptions). Personal ResponsibilityOnce the uniform is worn personal responsibility must be taken to maintain the strong reputation that the Scouting Movement has in the community and throughout the world - we urge you to take the greatest care of your Scout uniform. Nevertheless, there are certain circumstances where wearing of the uniform is inappropriate . Many activities will damage the uniform so it is quite common for members to be seen out of uniform during many activities.
